Umbuntu second drive, no issues so far September 9, 2010

I use this as a seperate boot drive with Umbuntu Linux for development and fiddling. Works without issue. Inexpensive way to prevent altering the boot sector for occasional users of other operating systems.

I have had this hard drive about two months or so;and it is working great. I have it in a HP laptop and it pretty much goes where I go. Although I am careful not to bump it around we all know (things happen) haha. It is still working like a trooper and excepted the Vista OS with no problems at all. I would highly recomend this hard drive to all.
I bought it as a replacement for the Hard drive that came from the factory with the laptop; it failed after two months or so of normal use. and no I will not mention any brand names. lol
so far it has been a great drive well worth the monies paid.

The hard drive in my Mom's laptop died so I needed to get her a new one. She hardly does anything on her computer so this was a great little drive. Installation was a breeze - on a MacBook - and the machine is humming away as if it were brand new.

I bought this as an exact replacement for a failed drive in a Dell Mini 10v that was just out of warranty.
It was inexpensive and easy to install.
According to reviews on Amazon and New Egg these drives are very reliable so I'm giving this make/model a 2nd chance. I'll change my review if it dies early as the original one did.
